Harrodsburg First Executive Director Julie Wagner has tendered her resignation to the Board of Directors. Wagner served as executive director in Harrodsburg since March 2012, after serving the longest tenure of any previous director.
Harrodsburg will celebrate and honor the Bataan Tankers on November 2 with events and a parade.

Executive Director Julie Wagner has been awarded the Main Street America Revitalization Professional (MSARP) credential, the highest credential currently available through the Main Street America Institute (MSAI).
Wagner is a 21 year veteran to Main Street work and is Kentucky’s only downtown professional to hold this designation.

HarrodsburgFirst Downtown Development Agency has relocated to 112 W Lexington Street while the permanent office is being renovated. 112 W Lexington is directly across from the Mercer Public library.
Downtown's core Main Street Central Business District has a 0% vacancy rate as of January 2019! Every storefront has a signed lease and renovations are underway in several properties. This is the first time Downtown Harrodsburg has been completely occupied in decades.
Harrodsburg First Main Street Program presented awards for excellence in downtown revitalization at the annual meeting on Thursday at Studio G, on Main Street in Downtown Harrodsburg. Executive Director Julie Wagner explains, “Each of our awards reflect one of the Four Points of Main Street which are the pillars of our organization; and recognizes an individual or group that exemplifies the principles of downtown revitalization.

Oktoberfest to replicate the 1902 downtown carnival by bringing a ferris wheel to Main Street. Rides will cost $3 per person or $6 for unlimited rides and free admission to the kids play area.
